The alarm is very loud which is great, but it is hard, if not impossible, to put under a hotel door as the seals are very tight at the bottom to keep out noise.

I use this on my garage door. It’s pretty loud and has good grips on the bottom. I had to put a little piece of wood underneath it, so it would be level with the door. My door isn’t even with the ground… For under $10, it’s good piece of mind.

The sound of this alarm is LOUD & piercing! I feel safer and sleep more soundly knowing the alarm will wake me if anyone opens my door. Rest assured it will alert you and scare off intruders because it’s so loud and they won’t be expecting this alarm. It’s a good idea to have this alarm when traveling and staying at (Hotels, Airbnb, Cruises etc) It’s also an excellent back up in the event of a power outage or if someone hacks and disables your main alarm system. If your home alarm fails for any reason, this is an excellent Plan B.
