The 14-Day Rapid Soup Diet is a dietary program designed to help individuals lose weight quickly and safely by incorporating soups into their daily meals. The program typically involves consuming specially formulated soups that are low in calories but high in nutrients, fiber, and protein. These soups are intended to help boost metabolism, curb cravings, and promote feelings of fullness, thereby facilitating weight loss.

Participants of the 14-Day Rapid Soup Diet are usually provided with a meal plan outlining which soups to consume each day for two weeks. The soups often contain ingredients known for their weight-loss properties, such as vegetables, lean proteins, and herbs and spices that can enhance flavor without adding extra calories.

In addition to consuming soups, the program may also include recommendations for incorporating healthy snacks and beverages, as well as guidelines for portion control and exercise. The goal of the 14-Day Rapid Soup Diet is to jump-start weight loss and establish healthy eating habits that can be sustained in the long term.

I don’t need to lose any weight myself, but being active in the fitness industry, I like to read other programs and trainer’s work to see if there is anything I can “steal” to use in my own business. Generally speaking, I’m skeptical of promises of rapid fat loss – I much prefer to introduce lasting changes with my clients to ensure the changes stick. That said, some people have legitimate reasons to want/need to lose fat fast, and it is possible with the right program. I was curious if Dr. Harvey had such a program.

Turns out her secret weapon is tried and true. I won’t spoil it for you, but I’ve used a similar cycling strategy myself to cut weight as a boxer (and I’m not talking about dehydrating myself), while maintaining lean muscle mass. It works, but it isn’t easy and it takes some serious discipline.

    The good news:

    -plan is simply laid out
-meal plan is complete for 14 days and includes recipes
-provides tips for sticking to the plan on the road
-provides detailed shopping list for the meal plan
-provides plenty of good tips regarding meal timing, quantity, what to avoid/what to eat

There are some things that could be improved – although I should stress that they aren’t show-stoppers:

-formatting – on my kindle paperwhite, the titles often spanned a couple pages and the spacing is off between some paragraphs making it a little bit hard to read/follow. Tried a smaller font size, which helped a little, but more logical page breaks would make it easier to read.

-meal plan quantities are set and I didn’t see any mention of adjusting the quantities of food based on one’s specific body types. Those quantities might be good for some people, but not sure they are universal.

Even though I have not tried out this “diet” myself – it is based on sound strategy and should deliver as promised. Combined with a suitable training plan (not provided), the results could probably be even more dramatic.

Alright like a ton of you reading through reviews I read and was like “okay, I’m glad you say tiles ‘easy’ or are ‘excited’ to start but haven’t actually done so”. Not many/if any claims to have actually worked. Well, I am at the top of day 7 and have already lost 6.4 lbs!! So this diet is awesome and I’m not starving! 1st, get used to eggs! About now on day 7 you’re going to feel like you’re going to puke by the time your halfway through breakfast. But eat up because you need that protein. By about day 3 breakfast is going to keep you full all the way to bed time and you will be able to modify your shakes, lunch, and dinner. And don’t be fooled by the number on the scale. I have exercised TWO TIMES this week! Which means the majority of what I’ve lost is water weight. Well, the first 10lbs of any weight loss is always water weight so don’t get too discouraged if you don’t get your 8glasses in and the scale doesn’t move. After not being able to break past 210 in weight loss for the last year, this is amazing! Best part by day 3 or 4 I no longer crave sweets! And even if you don’t follow her plan exactly and modify it, the key is massive increase in proteins and GREEN veggies, and major decrease of carbs. Lastly, I’ve seen a few complaints about the headaches. Don’t make yourself miserable. If you need a carb have A carb. Grab a piece of bread or some brown rice. It will not set you off. Every day I have had at least 1 carb and I’m doing great! I’ll follow up in 14 days!

Time crept up on me and I found myself 18 days away from a beach vacation with a lot of excess weight….googled quick 14 day diet that works and found this. It did work! I lost 12 lbs in 14 days using this diet. I have tried low carb before with some success but never cut out dairy as this diet has you do. That seems to be the key to my success on this diet. The book(let) took me literally 20 mins to read and I started the diet successfully right away. Easy to follow, easy meals and it works! I did feel deprived on the diet like I was craving yogurt, cheesesticks, something….but my body was probably coming down off it’s high of everything it was addicted to. I did have 2 cups of coffee with half n’ half and no sugar each morning….so I wasn’t able to go 100% off dairy. I will use this diet again when I start slipping back on the pounds….its definitely not a doable long term diet for me. BUT Net of all this, do it if you need quick results in little time, and that’s what it promises.

oh and as a side note…..it has you do 3 servings of protein shakes a day… Svelte Protein Shakes are amazing and taste like a milkshake and not a protein shake….no after taste, no grainy/chalky taste. you can also get it here on Amazon as well.

This diet was rough, but worked as advertised. I’m 5’4″ and went from 181-173, I lost 8 pounds (about half pound/day, 4 pounds/week). I did a fair amount of healthy cheating. The book suggests 3 protein shakes/day, but I could really only stomach 1, so I made up the extra calories with low fat cheese sticks, a few almonds, or an extra ounce of meat. The diet had me at about 1000 cals/day. I had a couple strawberries/kiwi a few nights b/c there’s no sugar allowed, and had half of a potato on 2 non-carb days. i used a couple packets of truvia to sweeten protein shakes a couple times. I worked out for 30 minutes twice a week, elliptical (4 times total). my blood pressure went down 4 points. This is definitely not a pleasant diet, in particular b/c I don’t like fish. It’s strictly a protein and vegetable diet, I thought about skipping the fish and just doing chicken on those days, but fish is leaner, so I just bought the frozen fillets that were already seasoned. Egg whites were for breakfast every day, with no mention of a substitute, so liking eggs is a must. I’m happy with the results, and may do it again in a few months, but I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 weeks at a time. I was murderously hungry the first 2 days, but by the third, I was only faintly hungry on occasion before the next “meal”. I think if I had stuck to it 100% without minor cheats I could have lost another pound or 2, but it wouldn’t be worth it to me.

Loved this book. It was to-the-point right from the start. Most important for me was: I didn’t have to wade through pages and pages of the author’s past history before getting down to the “how to” part. Instead, after a short back story, the author jumps right into the details, laying out in an easy to understand and uncomplicated manner of how this diet works. I was able to breeze through this book in less than an hour…. RIGHT UP MY ALLEY. i really look forward to starting this 14-day diet tomorrow.

I like the approach and the way info is presented. I did wonder if there was a sub for cauliflower. Having hypothyroidism there are a few foods like this I avoid. I am going to give this a try and also pass it on to a few people that I think might find this interesting. Need to start with my spouse so he can be psyched to be supportive.

I just read the plan. It seems it would be difficult, but not impossible if one is determined. I love the detailed instructions. That is what I need to succeed.

Easy to read and to follow the plan. My husband and I have each lost 15 pounds and have been able to keep it off for the past 3 months.

The book is easy to follow and also brief and to the point. I did notice that the author references specific meals that you can buy at the store that I don’t believe are available anymore. It would be nice to have a few of these frozen items as a fallback so we will work on simple alternatives since what I’m seeing in the frozen section seems to have more carbs than we want. She also mentions specific products for cleansing and shakes from another site but the exact ones she references don’t appear to be available anymore. There are other alternatives that may work but still researching this now. Also she provides a link to a bonus 7 days of recipes etc thatis no longer valid. Anyone recently have success with the link?
