I saw a commercial, saying that all cars made after 2005, the windows were made to shatter but not break on impact, to protect the passengers from getting cut, meaning the window now won’t break out, so in the event, you did need the glass breaker or seat belt cutter, the original tool doesn’t even work, I then went on line to fined one of these tools, it has to have the hammer effect, hope you or I never need it

Small but very strong and sturdy. This little thing has a very strong sting to it. Feel confident with it in my vehicle. Simple to use and a good product for your money. Better to be safe than sorry and a must have! High recommend!

So i never used this product in real but tested it on different types of glasses it works brilliant. I have never seen such an amazing, handy, easy to use gadget before. When I ordered it, i had that question in my mind if it really gonna work or not. But when I received the package it already has a sample glass in it so i tried breaking that glass with it and it worked perfectly and just in seconds it broke the glass than i went to a scrap store and bought different types of glasses just to try it on real car window glass and got the perfect result every times. So for me its a life saver gadget everybody must have it.

As a grandmother I take very seriously my duty to keep the children in my care safe. Knowing I could quickly grab this device and get myself and grandbabies out of the car in a panicky situation gives me peace of mind. I ordered a different window-breaker/seatbelt cutter and tested it to see how hard it would be to use. It was awkward and painful and I was sure I would panic in a true emergency because it wasn’t easy to use. I tossed it. This device is easier and seems safer to use. I believe I could use it effectively if I ever needed it. I pray I never do.

The product has some flaws.
1. no label on which end does what
2. the holder with the sticky back does not work from the start. Really poor sticky. falls off of a flat surface.
3. No instruction guide in box to show how to activate the part that breaks the window.

My biggest fear. Water and the car. Not worried now.

Tested it on the piece of glass provided and it worked a treat. I live next to a river so this product gives me some peace of mind.

I won’t know how effective it is until I use it, which I hope I will never need to do. Looks simple and well made, very prompt delivery, reasonable price.

Nice design, and it breaks the test glass, but the instructions are terrible, with at least one word completely mistranslated (saying “head” rather than “hand”). Fortunately, most folks will be able to figure it out. Price is right, though. I hope it actually works on modern (2022-2024) auto glass in an emergency.

I hope I never need one, but now I have one secured next to my instrument panel and one in my purse. I liked the included safety glass to test it out., and instructions on where on the side windows to use it. The metallic red is nice against my black dashboard and easy to see.
