013 – Ergonomic Gaming Computer Chair

I’d like to break this into 2 categories: Pros and Cons
But, before I jump into that, I want to emphasize: These are just my experiences and you may or may not feel the same way. However, I honestly believe that reviews matter and it’s important to help potential buyers to understand what others have experienced.
Pros:
This chair is a gamer’s dream. If you use a computer for long periods of time – no matter the purpose – this chair is everything you’ve ever wanted. I’ve had a bad back my whole life and had spinal-cord surgery just over 3 weeks ago. This chair has been the only place I’ve found any relief from my back pain. Sitting in the zero-gravity position was a God-send. Next, the leather this chair is made out of is as soft and buttery as something you’d find at a high-end furniture shop. Assembly was much easier than I was expecting. At first, I was nervous about assembling it because all the reviews suggested that assembly was difficult. The online videos were, most certainly, the reason that assembly was relatively simple. However, you WILL NEED 2 PEOPLE for set-up. Fortunately, my son was able to be over to the house that day. Another “pro” is, the beauty of the chair, itself. It’s a piece of art. The LED lights, the smokey mirrors on the base (I didn’t know about them until I pulled off the protective sheets – just gorgeous!!!), and the sleek lines make this unit far more beautiful than just a “computer chair”. Finally, I must say – this chair operates exactly as I hoped it would and exactly as promised – and the quality of the *entire unit* is uncompromised and better than I’d ever expected. To call it heavy-duty is an understatement. There was nothing about the chair that said, “cheap”. The words that describe this chair: Quality. Gorgeous. Fairly Priced. Functional. And Fun!
Cons:
The chair, when delivered, was a huge job to get it into the garage. I live in a smaller town and the truck that delivered the pallets the unit came on, didn’t have a lift gate. One of the pallets weighed over 500 lbs. Yes. Just one of them. The other was about 250 lbs. And, a truck without a lift gate and easing these pallets down to the ground took 4 men (I couldn’t help due to my pending back surgery, at the time) as well as the driver of the semi being nice enough to help my guys ease them down. So, 5 men – and even then, it was a nightmare. But, it got done. I had rented a pallet-jack and used that to wheel the pallets into the garage.
Then, I thought, “We can open the containers and I can just move piece by piece, slowly over the next few days, down to my man-cave and then assemble it down there.
Nope.
The unit comes in 3 main groupings – The Base – The Chair – and The Accessories. I was able to move the accessories down in 2 trips down to my Man-cave. But, the base and chair are assembled to the point that one person can’t hope to move them alone. Or two. Or even three. If you need to navigate stairs or move the chair anywhere other than where you remove the packaging, GET A LOT OF HELP!! (My recommendation would be to hire it done). It was a huge job just getting everything into the room.
So, that’s a really long way of saying that the first “con” is: it’s heavy. Really heavy. (Maybe ship it a bit less assembled? Just a thought).
My second “con” (for me) was, the unit came with 3 DP cables. 2 of the 3 cables didn’t work. Fortunately, I’m only running my 35″, curved monitor and haven’t purchased the 2 outer monitors yet (not sure I need them). However, I don’t know if those cables were bad when installed in the chair in the factory – or if they went bad in transit. But, the company didn’t replace them after I reported the problem to them – and that was a sincere disappointment to me (my only real disappointment in the entire transaction and unit).
So, there you have it. This chair is everything I’d hoped it would be – and much, much more. And, the cost of 2 new DP cables is nothing compared the be usefulness, functionality, beauty, and quality of this chair.
If you’re considering this chair, I can honestly say, you will be BEYOND happy with it. I’m thankful I purchased it and will be using it tonight to play Sea of Thieves (yep, I’m an old gamer). LOL!! Thank you for reading!!

I play a fair amount of computer games but I have a medical condition that makes sitting upright for even moderate periods of time, extremely painful. This chair has helped me greatly.
The chair arrived in two shipping crates. UPS is not going to drop this off by your mailbox. It will be delivered by a shipping company. The smaller crate contains the chair’s base with several parts and the packing list. The larger crate will contain the chair and more parts. The chair and base combined weigh over 500lb (approximately 220kg) so if you plan on moving them around much you need to call your big brother.
The chair assembly is reasonably straight forward for someone with a moderate amount of DIY abilities. Although there is no written assembly manual there is a detailed assembly video available on YouTube. There was no voiceover instructions and there have been some minor modifications to the chair’s design since the video was published so there was some guesswork for some of the assembly. The crates contain all the tools and screws needed for assembly but keep in mind you will need to buy the screws to mount the VESA compliant monitor(s).
The chair itself is very sturdy and comfortable. The controls allow for a variety of positions for the monitor arm, desktop, raised footrest, and chair angle. There is a “massage” function (just a vibration option, really) a reading light and colored LED lighting. Two cup holders and two small storage baskets round out the little extras.
The chair is designed so the cords for the monitor can be completely hidden from view. Four USB ports on the side of the armrest allow you to plug in your keyboard, mouse, headset, etc. they pick up at the back of the chair where the computer/gaming deck are designed to be placed. All in all it is well designed and minimizes the spaghetti syndrome many systems succumb to.
The negatives are just a few. It would be nice if there were an assembly manual and/or an updated assembly video with voiceover. Options such as game reactive vibration and built-in speakers would be an excellent addition. These are quibbles really since most chairs like this sell for three times as much. I would definitely buy it again.

The chair came 2 to 3 weeks earlier than advertised even with 2 delays with shipping and everything was secured and protectively wrapped. The packaging could have been labeled so you know which piece you’re opening up but otherwise it was well protected in shipping. Once the crates were opened up and the loose plates and pieces removed moving it inside was relatively painless. The wheels on the chair assembly and the base made it much easier to move around and orient on the base. I will say you should check the base wheels before trying to push it around, mine were locked in place initially and I had to remove a couple plates to pop the wheel locks up. Definitely recommend 2 people to assemble it and moving it only took 2 sets of hands as well. Chair assembly was maybe 200 to 250 pounds once out of the crate. This does not come with any vesa screws so you’ll need to get those yourself for any monitors you plan to mount. Lining up the monitors once they’re on the brackets is a bit of a pain and something I’m still fiddling with to get them level and spaced correctly. Cable management is pretty simple, you can store excess power and port cable in the mount brackets and the arm itself. The only real issue I had was with the LED lights not working correctly on arrival but over the course of several days their customer service walked through several things to troubleshoot and we eventually got it fixed. The motor operations work well and are pretty accurate to the video’s they have posted around. Overall I’m pretty happy with the purchase, the system fits very well with a glass panel tower to show off your lighting setup alongside the chair. The feeling of this thing closing around you as you sit down to play or work is extremely satisfying.

I’ve had this chair since April of 2020 and it has helped me in many ways. I’m an animator and spend long hours in front of a screen so I got this to keep my back from hurting during crunch time. It works brilliantly for that.
What I didn’t foresee is how else this chair would be a life saver. I had two surgeries recently and needed to sit up for comfort. I found with a little extra padding, o was able to sleep in this chair during the recovery nights.
I can’t stress this enough, this is an amazing chair.
That said, you will need a LOT of help to move it and put it together. It is wicked heavy.

Chair is cool for the first few days but then stuff starts breaking. The automatic keyboard tray opener already broke. The bottom seat doesn’t vibrate. The leather on the armrests sunk in and it feels like I’m resting my elbow on plastic. Certain colors of the led lights make a weird buzzing noise. The chair is moderately comfortable to sit in. I normally don’t write reviews but this is such a large purchase I had to let anyone who is on the fence know.

Had this chair for 6 months. I’m 5’6 and an athletic build at 230lbs. I find the chair moderately comfortable. Biggest complaint is the size of the chair. I find it rather small as if built for an Asian woman. My feet hang off the end in the reclined position which places uncomfortable stress on my calves and ankles. I would not recommend this for anyone taller then 5’2″. Also, the power supply fan runs 24/7 and is extremely loud and annoying. I don’t know why they didn’t put a control in there to regulate fan speed or use a better fan. Lastly, I’m in and out of this chair 4 or 5 times a day. The motor system has held up these 6 months so far without issues, although it is alot louder then my Seatcraft Enigma home theater seating. For the price I would expect top of the line parts.

Let me start by saying I love the chair. Having said that, I would like to leave some feedback on my experience from purchase to installation so others know what to expect.
1) The seller used RoadRunner Freight to ship. I purchased the chair on Jun/26 and finally received it on 7/30. I understand there may be challenges in shipping something this size, but I had multiple inaccurate updates on the arrival of the chair causing me to leave work early on several occassions as well as the people I had on stand by to help me move it.
2) Definitely have more than one person to help you move this. I am a pretty stout individual myself, but the shape and size make it difficult to handle.
3) There are wheels on the chair and on the base so that is a tremendous help once you have it on solid floor. Just be mindful of the cables.
4) Comes with it’s on set of tools, which is great, but highly suggest you go out and buy one of those handy flashlights that strap on to your head so as to provide light while freeing up your hands.
5) The keyboard panel comes with some sort of hybrid cardboard film stuck to it. It has a glass-like finish so I imagine this is applied to protect it. That is great, but the film is a MFer to remove. I used windex to saturate it and let it set for awhile applying more as needed until it was completed soaked. Afterwards the protective film came off pretty easy using the rough side of a sink sponge.
6) The video guide is very helpful, but the most important thing to know about the video and chair is THERE ARE NO POWER CABLES IN THE OVERHEAD ARM FOR THE MONITORS. YOU WILL NEED TO RUN A POWER CABLE YOURSELF. I purchased about a 15′ extension cord with a three socket end on it, as I am using a 3 monitor set up.
7) You should be aware, if running multiple monitors, that all of the mounts are level to one another. If you have different model monitors that mount in different locations on the back, the monitors will not line up properly.
It is a great chair once it is all said and done. You may need a pillow for reclining, but everything works great. It is really comfortable and the moving parts are pretty quiet. I did not find materials on this chair that seemed overly cheap or lacking in quality save the white paper film that is run underneath the overhead arm. It is in place for the LED lights to reflect off of, but once all the plates are installed, it is completely protected. Now that I have everything 100% I am loving my new set up. The work put in to set up the chair was worth it in the end.

Jon uses this chair up to 16 hrs a day when working on video editing, filming, answering emails, and building a new website. It was the best purchase we made last year.
The tech support for assembly was great.
This is a very heavy piece of equipment and needed to be in our studio over the garage. It took 4 (young) guys with ropes to haul/drag the two sections up the back stairs for about an hour. It’s very heavy and we had to take the jams off the door to get it inside the room. If we sell the house its probably going with it. But make no mistake. We are very pleased with this purchase and would just tell people to think about where it is going to be placed and how its going to get there.

This chair is absolutely amazing. I love how comfortable it is. Seriously awesome I can sit in it for hours upon end with no pain. No strain on my neck or shoulders or lower back anymore.. It’s pretty wide you can sit cross legged if you want to. Also there’s a little light so you can read. If you’re thinking about buying this do it. Just go ahead and do it

Buyer beware. Based on the other reviews I’m not even attempting support.
Had this chair for 2 years. I’m in this thing for 75% of my day for work and gaming. Hassle moving the 3 large pieces into my 2 story house but it was worth it for the first year.
Then the issues started:
Extremely loud growling when operating the chair. Metal components rubbing against each other. Loud enough to be heard in the basement from the 2nd floor. Tried using WD40 on the moving parts but no luck.
Noticed bolts were falling out. These cannot be accessed to be replaced due to the welded frame.
Added padding to the arm rests as it was lacking.
Leg rest is constantly stuck and won’t extended
Lose power and you are now stuck (had this happen a few times)

I ordered this back in late February 2022 and it arrived within 10 days. It comes in two large crates that are on the heavy side. My wife and I were able to break them down and get the chair in the house with a bit of effort. We had watched the videos online that gave instructions on how to put it together. It was not complicated, just took some time and lots of fastening bolts with a hex wrench. Everything went together fine, but we discovered we were missing one non-essential piece (a cover on the lower back side). I reached out to support and Jason got back to me right away. I told him what I needed, and he sent the replacement part right away and kept me informed on the shipping and even followed up several times afterwards to make sure everything worked out.
The chair itself is great. My wife has a bad back and needed a chair to work in for 6-10 hours a day that would minimize pressure on her back and neck. I was looking for the ultimate gaming chair. Both of us got what we wanted. It has only been a month or so, but we are very happy with this purchase and even though the price seemed a bit much initially, it has proven to be a sound investment and I am considering getting a second one so I don’t have to wait for my wife to finish working so I can play.
Specs: I paired this chair with a 49″ Odyssey Neo G9 G95NA Gaming Monitor (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B096YNP6ZR/), a Sound BlasterX Katana v2 Soundbar (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M5G07KF/) mounted with a USX MOUNT Universal Soundbar Mount (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081N42KV3) and Logitech Brio 4K Webcam (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N5UOYC4). To make it easy to toggle between work computers and my gaming rig I am using the UDP2-14AP-KIT – 4-port USB Dual DisplayPort KVM switch which allows for 5k @ 120hz which is pretty great for a KVM system.

Setup
When the unit arrived at my house, it arrived in a freight truck. They were very helpful to drop it off in my garage as this was a rather large package from Amazon. They would not drop it off in the house, but we were able to agree to have them leave it in the Garage. It does require two people to move this to place of where it will be placed/used. There are wheels under the base but can be locked once it has been put in its final place. Make sure to leave some space behind it for the arm as it will reach behind it. The unit is fully assembled, but it split up into two separate pieces which makes it easier for shipping. The two units will be the Base and Support Arm (the piece that goes over your head and hold the monitors). Once this unit is being installed, just connect these two pieces using the screws that were used for shipping. The tools that are great, however it will be useful if you have your own power drill, it does make the unscrewing / screwing process go a bit faster. It does come with instructions on how to put this unit together.
Price
The price for this desk was more than I wanted to pay for an office desk, however I wanted to have a desk that I felt comfortable working at. This is basically a souped-up version of a lazy-boy with a desk built-in. In my opinion, this was worth the money spent on this!
Daily Use
My daily use for this chair has been for work. I’m an IT Professional who works from home and have found this desk to be very useful. I do have to sit for longer periods of time and have found this to be a very ergonomic chair. I have found that this does improve the blood flow throughout the body when the zero-gravity position is used. Whenever I used a traditional desk, my right leg would swell due to the lack of blood flow on the right leg. Once I started using this chair, the swelling subsided instantly (I’m a firm believer in the blood flow aspect). With regards to Neck Strain that would come with a traditional desk doesn’t exist here. When the chair is in zero-gravity mode, the monitors can be adjusted to a comfortable angle that fits your requirements. I have also found that the two cup holders are also great for holding a drink tumbler or snacks.
I do recommend purchasing a PC HUB of which will be used to connect my work laptop to the Monitors, Keyboard, Mouse, Network, and USB’s. I used two of the monitors for work and 1 monitor for my Apple TV. I also use 2 x Apple Home Pods for surround sound for the Apple TV. I did purchase 3 phone mounts, 2 of which are used to mount the Apple Home Pods on the left & right side of the Chair and 1 of the phone mounts are used on the rotating keyboard desk for my Phone. There are USB ports that have been put on the side of the right armrest for easy access to the USB Port while in the chair. For the Apple TV remote, I found that using Velcro to the Keyboard Arm has been perfect. When mounting the monitors, I ended up having to purchase my own VESA monitor screws in order to mount the monitors to the Monitor Support Arms on the Chair.
I have also found that this chair is also very nice if you wanted to add your own wiring for custom things such as additional USB Cables in the Monitor Arms as your able to take off the plates to allow access to run those wires.
Tech-Support
If there are any issues either with installation or general tech support, the tech support can be reached only using the WhatsApp and are quick about being able to help you out.
In conclusion, I do hope this info above helps you out make your decision. I absolutely think this chair is worth the money spent and has improved my health since I have started using this chair.
I purchased this Chair in October 2021 and have finally found some time to write this review.

Cons:
*It’s very heavy, 350+ pounds. I assume that’s because it needs to be very stable. It comes on a pallet, so rent a pallet jack if you can to bring it into your house. Don’t take the top section off of the pallet until you’re ready to slide it onto the base.
* Amazon quoted 50.00 for professional assembly, they showed up and said it was way too heavy and out of scope for the 50.00 assembly price, that was annoying. I assembled it myself without too much trouble.
Pros:
* I’m in IT and i’ve been sitting in front of a computer for work for two decades, at age 48 my back muscles become fatigued quickly, so this is a game changer. I can already tell a huge difference in back pain the first day using it.
* It’s made very solidly, it has really cool features. and it looks really great.
Summary: It’s a fantastic product, I’m not a gamer, i bought it for work to get rid of back pain. Mission Accomplished!

This “Gaming Chair” aka Battlestation (LOL)… I absolutely love this thing! It is sooo cool! Money…is it worth it? Yes!
Chris (verified owner) –
Loved this setup at first. The cushioning flattens out pretty quick and the leather cracks. Which is all expected with use. But more importantly the zero gravity/ recline mechanism broke. The worm gear is threaded to a block of plastic that travels forward and backward (for the reclining function). Anyway the block broke. Everything else works except the most important part. I expected better quality for what I paid.
