I almost didn’t buy this because of some of the negative reviews. I’m glad I ignored them and gave it a shot. This thing is amazing. My kids’ tank is in front of a window (only spot we have) so grows algae on the glass pretty often. It’s always been too much to deal with, and we were about to give up on keeping fish. Usually I’d scrub with a sponge or scrape with official tank scraping tools. I’ve tried everything and it always only got a little of the green junk off the glass and left swirls of algae behind.
This tool — it takes just a few minutes to wipe down all 4 walls of our 10g tank. Even the kids can do it. It’s effortless and the tank looks amazing. I’d post a pic — but it’s just a pic of a very clean tank. Wishing I’d taken a before pic to compare.
If you’re on the fence, just buy it. You can always return it if it doesn’t work for you. But it works. Trust me.

I bought this after seeing a similar product from Fluval at my brother’s place. His tank was thick with algae and it worked great. But this one could not even clean the very mild algae in my tank even with a metal blade attached to it. I guess that explains why this one costs less.

I purchased a small, and the magnet was a bit weak but everything else is well put together. I looked through my history and noticed I purchased my orignal from same company so reordred. I contacted support and they responded quickly. I ended up with a larger size and the magent is very strong. I have multiple tanks. 75/29/10 x2 — It works well in all. It is quite the beast. Large gripping surface, which you will need as the magent is strong. I used it on my 75 tonight and it too a good bit of force to get it moving. It is a bit large in the 10g’s , I didn’t notice if they had a ‘medium’ size, if they do & you’re thinking of the small size. Upgrade to the medium.

Was soll ich dazu sagen, finde ihn nicht wirklich hilfreich!
Magnet ist zu schwach wodurch er beim geringsten vorschieben jedesmal sich löst. Auch sollte man sich mit den Maßen nicht vertun. Den meines Erachtens ist die Größenangabe von inch auf cm nicht gerade wirklich gut . Für Glasaquarien komplett ungeeignet, für kleine 10l Plastikaquarien jedoch ausreichend.
Mein Fazit!
Bei einem Becken mit 240Liter Volumen ist er komplett ungeeignet, außer man hat die Zeit und die Lust!
Eine Empfehlung für dieses Produkt finde ich auch nicht gerade passend. Da kenne ich bessere Produkte aus China.
Der Preis finde ich auch etwas übertrieben für die Schwäche Leistung des Scheibenreinigers .
Vorteil ist nur dass sobald sich der Reiniger löst, die Seite im Becken nicht zu Boden sinkt sondern an der Wasseroberfläche schwimmt.

I’ve been looking for a nice cleaning tool to help keep my fish tank glass clean. My fish tank is only a 10 gallon so I didn’t want something really bulky taking up the view. This cleaner is the perfect size and does an amazing job keeping my glass looking clean. The magnet is strong and the glass cleaner is hardly noticeable when in a corner or on the side. Definitely would recommend for smaller personally tanks.

It’s pretty small and the scrubbing pad isn’t very aggressive. However, the metal scraper that fits on the end works well. The only problem with the scraper is that it tends to fall off if when cleaning along edges.

Clown fish are aggressive and i hate puttibg my hands in the tank. Its a 35 bow. This thibg works great. Cool how it floats if unattached. Fub for the kids surprising.
