Esta piedra produce gran cantidas se burbujas pequeñas, incluso con bombas pequeñas. Redujo considerablemente el ruido que emitia comparado con mi piedra anterior (Una piedra cilindrica de una pulgada). Recomiendo esta piedra porque pienso que se oxigena mejor el agua y por ser muy silenciosa.

I requested the boxtech 6 Inch Fish Tank Air Stone for use in our 125-gallon tank being prepared as a permanent home for our Tiger Oscar who is currently residing in a 55-gallon. It is a monster bubble producer from the little test I ran in the 55-gallon tank. I am inclined to believe the stone will be more than sufficient for ‘Oscar’s’ needs all by itself in the bigger tank and I won’t need the bubble bar, biomechanical bubbler, or the submersible filter/aerator like I have in the 55-gallon. I like it immensely!

The airpump I have isnt strong enough to make this work properly. I suspect you need a heavier duty pump to push air out of the surface of this bubbler. Its a rather wide circle of Air stone.
Just have a beefy Airpump for this to work properly.

Works perfectly. Already had an air pump with air flow adjustment so didn’t use the one that came with the air stone, which sit in fish tank for about an hour before turning on. I placed a check valve and put air pump above fish tank level to be sure of a non return flow in case of power outage. Happy with purchase.

We use this in our 46-bowed aquarium. The fish love it, and it provides a very wide breadth of fine bubbles which adds a beautiful aesthetic to the tank. It as very easy to install and we love the size. We sit it under a tiki hut which gives the appearance of a little “spa” area. It fit into our existing external pump and replaces a very small airstone that was there previously. Highly recommended!

Large surface produces lots of fizzy bubbles. Works and looks great. Very pleased with it. I use sponge filters and this air stone helps with the surface movement keeping a film from developing on top of the water.

I’m preparing an aquarium and this is all I was missing; I tried it real quick, works very well. Heavy enough to stay at the bottom which is what I was worried about, but everything is fine 👍🏻

It looks and feels good, but needs a strong pump.
Ours was from a basic set and can’t push enough air. But bubbles look small, as advertised.

Honestly I was a little nervous due to some of the reviews, but this airstone is a beast. The bubbles are like a fine underwater mist. 100% would recommend.
Please note that I do have a powerful air pump, because I have a 120 gallon tank. I am not sure how this would perform with a low flow pump, however with my pump, this airstone is fantastic!
The water is so ultra oxygenated from the stone that bubbles form on the plants! Fishsticks gills barely move because breathing is so easy for him.
