Got this for a Christmas present from my wife. This was my first experience flying a drone and I was a little nervous about crashing it my first time out.
A few things I found very useful is the home button…tap that it returns to the place where it took off. I didn’t have to worry about a crash landing …or loosing it in the sky.
Also, when you think it may be getting away, just lay off the joysticks and it hovers in that spot till you’re ready to change direction and slowly resume. Don’t panic .
The only thing that I wasn’t prepared for (and the first time I panicked …) I hit the home button, expecting it to return, instead it went straight up and headed , well I didn’t know where. No worry, it’s programed to do that to avoid flying into something on it’s return trip. I looked straight up and there it was, slowly descending to where it took off.
I’ve flown about 6 times now (weather permitting ) …my confidence builds and can’t wait to get out more often. Pretty happy. A great choice for a beginner like myself.
