I finally got up the nerve to try to make a coffee mug for a customer, and the mug press doesn’t work!!
My partner came over to assist me and what we discovered is, the heating element does not reach the proper temp. I wasted 4 sublimation mugs because of this, and I very disappointed.
To add insult to injury, this company does not allow returns or exchanges.
NOW I AM STUCK WITH A BRAND NEW MUG PRESS THAT I CANNOT USE!!
I AM A MEMBER OF SEVERAL GROUPS AND I WILL BE SURE TO INFORM THEM NOT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM BETTERSUB!!!

We have pressed both 11oz and 15oz mugs with this machine with no issues at all.
We have pressed around 200 mugs with this machine and have had zero issues. in fact we are buying a second unit today as we need to ramp up production time.
UPDATE!… We are now well over 2000 mugs on our 2 machines and we still love this product. As stated before, It can do 11oz as well as 15oz straight out of the box… you just need to adjust the screw.
The sleeves will stretch over time but the manufacturer sells replacement sleeves for a good price and they are very easy to change.
Yes.. you will probably waste a couple of mugs at first as you are figuring out your temperature/time and pressure, but once you get it figured out.. this this is a rock star and money maker.
We also have a 5 mug press from another company but this is by far our go to machines for production. It may take a little longer to put out our orders but our products come out perfect every time.
I would not hesitate to buy more of these machines… in fact i probably will in the near future.

I’m very pleased with this machine. It heated up super fast, and did the job it’s meant to do. It has all the features it needs to have and is easy to use. Since this was my first time sublimating mugs, some of the mugs came out a little faded, but that was my fault. After completing one mug, I put the next one in too soon, when the machine wasn’t quite up to temperature yet. So that’s one thing to be aware of. Otherwise, I am very happy to see this lovely little machine on my table.

I’ve been enjoying this press for a couple of months now. It works great, heats ups fast and it’s easy to use. Temp might drop a bit when you insert the mugs but will get to temperature and sublimate just find. With the mugs and ink I use I get vibrant colours in 170 sec.

I’m honestly not sure why the negative reviews overall this is a great little press. Is there a learning curve? Yes but a small one. If you read the instructions and follow them you won’t have any issues. The timer does not start automatically though – you’ll have to close your press then hit the “Enter” button to start the timer.

Sublimated some mugs last night and discovered the timer does not work but used my phone as a stopwatch…no big deal for me but you should get what you pay for..other than that it did the job…changing out different size cup attachments is a real pain…Don’t expect much in the quality dept. but it will get you by if just doing for yourself and friends

I have been using it for sometime now. I make my regular ceramic mugs and metal mugs in it with no issue. I also sometimes do my simple 20oz tumblers in it. I just rotate it a few times. Recently the pressure knob broke and I reached out to the company and their service is beyond Amazing! If they ever make a tumbler Press I will for sure buy from them again. Customer service is great and that’s a big thing for me.

Like most heat presses, it’s hard to determine what’s actually good and what’s not, so I walked into this mug press hoping for the best knowing there were free returns if it wasn’t good. It works on both 11oz and 15 oz easily and I’ve been able to do wine tumblers as well. Super easy to figure out and was delivered quickly.
