careful on your first lighting. The excess lighting fluid that you can’t get off the lighter WILL IGNITE and make you want to drop it. Fortunately, it burns off quickly and doesn’t cause any damage. (Even if you do drop it. The damn thing is sturdier than it looks .)

Ok it might just be me but I’m having some issues lighting it. Everything is functional it’s just the sparks aren’t igniting the wick maybe the fuel is wrong?
Anyways it’s cool looking

Really sad cause it looks cool as a decoration. but if you intend to actually use this for lighting anything you may want to look elsewhere. it simply does not light unless you sit there and crank it for five straight minutes. just not really worth it.

Pros:
– Looks cool.
– Fairly novel ignition method.
– Visible fluid level.
Cons:
– Can’t be carried in a pocket. If you do, and it doesn’t stay upright, the fluid comes up through the wick hole and gets the flint wet and it takes a minute to get dry enough to light.
– When serving as a desk lighter, loses fluid about as quickly as a Zippo. In a pocket, loses fluid at least twice as fast. Definitely not to be carried around.
– Very difficult, but maybe not impossible, to light left-handed. Not bad right-handed.
– Requires the provided tool or a screwdriver to refill.
Overall, it is a kind of a cool gift idea. It’s a pretty okay desk lighter. It’s absolutely shit for everyday use away from home, though.

Lighter fluid evaporates leaving you with no lighter.

I got the lighter because I thought it was a nice and unique looking lighter. How ever I bought 2 of these one for me which i really did enjoy it and liked it. because I liked it I got one as a gift for someone. How ever when I got the 2nd one it looked used and doesnt work. There was no flint in it so i had to provide my own unlike the first one I had gotten. The striker on the 1st I got works great on the 2nd almost never. It is really hard to get the flint spring back into the lighter once trying to place it in there. After putting in a brand new flint i can only get it to strike on the 2nd lighter about 10% of the time. Which is really annoying So I guess it depends on what you get, Now an important note is Mine is the Black one and the one i was giving to my brother as gift was the silver / Chrome looking one. Not sure if that plays a part or not or its just more aligned with poor quality control.

Was looking for a lighter where I can see how much is left. This works so well

I LOVE this lighter. It is absolutely beautiful. It is not great to carry in your pocket because it leaks like a Zippo, but it works beautifully as a table lighter.

The fluid dosen’t last I got it just to have and I filled it up with zippo lighter fluid and it’s been 2 weeks and it’s almost out

The cap over the wick doesn’t seal and the fuel all evaporates within a day or two.

It’s a fun design, I enjoy playing with it… but I filled it yesterday, and after a day of sitting on my desk untouched, it’s half empty
